- A large outer filter traps the large airborne particles, lint and pet hair.
- The pre-filter (Permafilt�) traps smaller particles that have passed through the outer filter. These initial layers add life to the carbon and HEPA layers.
- 15 lbs. of activated carbon adsorbs still smaller particulate as well as odors and gazes.
- Finally, True Medical HEPA filter paper removes harmful airborne particles as small as 0.3 microns.
